Daniel, I actually came across 2nd Parish from Sermonaudio.com. I usually use that website to listen to some great reformed preachers like Macarthur, Piper, and others. But I decided to look for preachers in my area and I stumbled across your church and sermons. So I went to your church website and I really love what this church believes, especially concerning salvation! (a very rare thing to find today)

Anyway I moved to Portland Maine a year ago from Maryland for a Youth Pastor position at Grace Baptist Church in Portland Maine. But I really look forward to meeting you!

Jonathan...thanks for the question. We have suspended the Bible study for the summer, but will be starting up the first Wednesday in October. Where did you hear about 2nd Parish? Thanks for writing into us.

Thanks for the review. During my walk as a Christian I must confess that I have had a love-hate relationship with James and I understand that I am in the company of Luther (who reputedly called it an "epistle full of straw"). However, I have since repented and grown to love the book. I will look forward to reading Selvaggio's work. Evangelical Press has much credibility among discerning Christians and has turned out a very good product. I read 'Book of Origins' years ago and continue to go back to that well.

I pray that all is well with you and yours!

This is a really great page. Kudos to whoever took the time and effort. Well organized, easy to navigate. Hopefully, we'll see more information and be able to hear Pastor Patterson's message thru this site.
